11th Four days online workshop on
*INTRODUCTION TO "R" PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE*
17-20 October 2022, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm IST
R programming language is one of most commonly used statistical tools in
the life sciences domain. It has specifically authored packages for*
analyzing and visualizing ecological/biodiversity data. *
In order to excel in R programming, a basic understanding of its working is
essential which exactly is the purpose of this workshop
𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒
· Understanding some commonly used data types and structures
importing,
· editing and exporting data,
· control flow using 'if', 'else' & 'for' statements,
· writing simple custom functions,
· some commonly used functions for easy data summarization (e.x.
‘apply’ family of functions)
