of Forestry and Wildlife, NOIDA present the inaugural conference of the
SCB-India Chapter to be held on March 19-20, 2018 at Amity University,
NOIDA. *

The event will host:

*·Talks on wildlife sciences, ecology, conservation and policy *

*·Student posters and speed-talks *

*·Skills and exposure workshops *

**Inaugural session of Society for Conservation Biology- India Chapter *

Abstracts for speed-talks and posters are invited from students covering
ecological, social and policy-related aspects of wildlife conservation. The
last date for abstract submission is February 20, 2018.

*Conference Registration Fee:* Students: Rs. 500 ; Professionals: Rs.
1000.

The Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) is the world's leading
organization dedicated to promoting the study of maintenance, loss and
restoration of global biodiversity and has 5,000 members worldwide. The
SCB-India Chapter, to be inaugurated at the Conference, will encourage
wildlife study and conservation in India. Memberships to the SCB- India
Chapter will be invited at the Conference.

Amity Institute of Forestry and Wildlife (Amity University, NOIDA) started
the first Master's and PhD programme in Wildlife Sciences in the Delhi NCR
and a Bachelor's Program in Forestry. It will host the SCB- India Chapter.

This event is generously supported by Worldwide Fund for Nature-India
(WWF-India) and Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment
(ATREE).
