Internship opportunity with ATREE to work on birds in semi-arid
landscape scape of South Tamil Nadu
Biodiversity project in the semi-arid landscape of S. Tamil Nadu at
ATREE has a 6 months internship opportunity starting from the middle of
September 2016. The internship is based in Tirunelveli district and will
involve sampling of birds. The intern will be a part of team which will
be sampling various taxa and characterizing habitat. Between field
sampling period, the intern is expected to handle data entry and carry
out simple analysis. Applicant should be familiar with birds of the
semi-arid landscapes and also the project is looking for a young
individual with keen interest in avian ecology. This is a paid position
with accommodation. The first month will treated as probation after
which 6 months contract will be issued.
