Dear All,
We have an internship opportunity in our ongoing project on post-tsunami
vegetation succession of terrestrial and mangrove vegetation in Nicobar
Islands. This will be largely a desk-work based in Wildlife Institute of
India, Dehradun. The major tasks of the intern is to assist us in data
processing and writing technical report and scientific publication. It will
be a three month opportunity subjected to further extension based on
performance of the candidate and requirement of the project. We encourage
candidates who have recently finished their Master’s degree to apply.
*Desirable qualification*: (i) Master’s degree in Biological science
(Botany, Zoology, Wildlife Biology, Marine Science, Environment Science,
Forestry etc.) (ii) Keen interest for plant ecology (iii) good writing
skill (iv) some experience in data analysis.
*Benefits*: A monthly emolument of Rs. 8000/- will be paid during the
internship period.
*Deadline*: Interested candidates may kindly send their detailed CV along
with a one page statement of interest (mentioning your experience and how
you could fit in in this project) to Dr. Nehru Prabakaran (
