Greetings!
My name is Navneet Kumar and I am writing on behalf of Team Black Kite
which is a team of scientific and field research enthusiasts working in the
domain of ecology and wildlife.
Allow me to brief you a little bit on our project. Black Kite Project is a
project ranging across ecology, animal behaviour and wider concerns. The
Black Kite Project has been running successfully for over 6 years in Delhi
under the tutelage of senior scientists from Wildlife Institute of India,
Dehradun, scholars from Oxford University, London and in collaboration with
acclaimed national and international institutions like BNHS, Mumbai and
CSIC, Spain.
A steady team of researchers in Delhi and Dehradun are involved in
conducting this research towards a holistic study of black kites. However,
we regularly induct batches of volunteers and full full time
interns/research assistants with an aim to spreading training, knowledge
and awareness on wildlife, ecology and science in general while helping
budding researchers and enthusiasts enhance their knowledge and further
their career. It is with this objective that we are reaching out to team
YETI for helping us spread our requirements among the network on
individuals who wish to undertake such a project as volunteers.
I am sharing a draft mail below which we wish to send across to interested

*Research Intern position available for individuals from background and
genuine academic interest in biological sciences in Black Kite Project - a
project ranging across ecology, animal behaviour and wider concerns. The
Black Kite Project operates in Delhi under the tutelage of senior
scientists from Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, scholars from Oxford
University, London and in collaboration with acclaimed national and
international institutions like BNHS, Mumbai and CSIC, Spain. *
*The project involves rigorous fieldwork and consistent efforts towards
developing scientific acumen during period of engagement. Motivated and
performing individuals would have an opportunity for absorption as senior
research associates in the later stages upon displaying significant
contribution, motivation and drive.*
*Individuals who have finished graduation/post graduation with relevant
background, interested in a research career and can dedicate full time work
during the day in the NCT of Delhi, for a minimum engagement period of 6 to
8 months would be preferred. *
