You may be aware that Development Alternatives along with GIZ ELD
Initiative is organizing a side event at UNCCD COP 14 on “*Economics of
Land Degradation (ELD): Evaluating the Impact of Land Remediation through
the lenses of natural capital and SDGs in the Bundelkhand region in Madhya
Pradesh, India*” to be held on *3rd September 2019 at Rio Pavilion*,
Greater Noida from *1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. *Economics of land degradation
initiatives (ELD) aims at evaluating and raising awareness on economic
benefit of land and land based ecosystems. This would help to value land
and its contribution to ecosystem services and how it becomes an integral
part of policy strategies and decisions
