Greetings from Team AADRITA ARDRABHUMI
We are glad to inform you that* Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and
Cotton University, Assam* are jointly organizing a one-day online event on
the occasion of
*World Wetland Day, i.e., 2nd February 2021. *
The event will be preceded by multiple sub-events along with two
competitions, the details of which can be found in the brochure. A
mini-lecture series will also be hosted under the same banner where
pre-recorded videos from experts on topics related to wetland will be
uploaded to our YouTube channel. A citizen science-based wetland survey,
'LimKnow-The wetland survey' will also be conducted to document the
location and status of wetlands in Assam. The initiative aims to bring
awareness to wetlands and water bodies among the commons, as well as
facilitate a platform to bridge the gap between experts, policymakers, and
non-specialists.
In this regard, we would like to invite you to participate in this event.
