Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) invites applications from suitable candidates
for a Program Officer position under Wildlife Crime Control Division, based
in WTI HQ (Noida). The Wildlife Crime Control Division of WTI works towards
combating key wildlife crime and demonstrably reduce poaching or illegal
trade of wildlife in India.
The ideal candidate should have prior knowledge of the status of wildlife
crime in India and possess experience in particularly working on this
theme. He/ She shall primarily be responsible for coordinating with field
officers across varied WTI field sites. The candidate shall be collating
vital information, analyzing data, drafting technical reports, and
assisting in fundraising and budgeting of ongoing and future projects. The
program officer shall also assist the division in conducting training on
wildlife crime prevention across the country. Preference shall be accorded
to a candidate who has published scientific papers relevant to the topic of
wildlife crime.
