A Short-term Assignment with WRCS
An opportunity for assessing tourism potential for four selected sites in
Uttar Pradesh is available with WRCS. The researcher will be required to
visit the selected sites, survey its potential for tourists, infrastructure
development, involvement of local communities, review the current tourism
policy and prepare a feasibility report for the project. The researcher
will be required to arrange and participate in discussions and site visits
with UP Forest Dept. Officers, Tourism Dept. officers and tour operators to
understand the issues in detail.
Duration of the assignment is 3 months and will be starting immediately.
Applicants who can fulfil the following criteria may apply immediately to
WRCS with subject line “ For Tourism Assignment"
• Graduate or Post-graduates in Science
• Previous work experience and understanding of eco-tourism concept
• Ready to travel and work hard in the field
• Ability to write comprehensive report and make presentations
• Commit to work on the project till the report is submitted
• Good communication skill and knowledge of Hindi language
