A Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/project assistant position funded by Science
and Engineering Research Board (SERB) is open in plant-animal interactions
lab (https://www.ashoka.edu.in/faculty#!/shivani-krishna-1527), Department
of Biology, Ashoka University.
*Project:* Plant-pollinator interactions in a semi-arid ecosystem
*Qualifications** (as per funding agency norms): *The candidate should
have a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying degree
preferably. Additional qualifications for JRF are: Post-graduate degree in
any area of sciences with NET qualification, or graduate degree in a
professional course in biology with NET qualification, or postgraduate
degree in a professional course in biology. In case a suitable candidate
with the above qualifications is not found, candidates with a Master’s
degree in Sciences may be appointed as project assistant if selected.
Applicants with experience in conducting research on field-based ecological
studies will be preferred.
*Duration:* 3 years (initial appointment will be for 6 months, which is
extendable upon satisfactory performance)
Fellowship is in accordance with Department of Science and Technology,
Government of India guidelines.
