We have a vacancy for a Project Coordinator for the Tadoba landscape.
Please find the details hereunder:
*PROJECT COORDINATOR for Conservation Project at Tadoba*
We am looking for:
Project Coordinator for our conservation project in the Tadoba Andhari
Tiger reserve landscape. The duration of our project is 2 years starting
July 2022.
The project will address mitigation of human – large carnivore conflict.
This will be done through activities that include field work, community
awareness, training of primary response teams, focussing on women. We will
be addressing the tolerance of local communities towards co-existence in
these peripheral forests.
A more detailed plan can be shared with interested candidates.
The candidate for the post of Project Coordinator should:
· Have a conservation social science background, not necessarily
academically, but with some (~2) experience in this field.
· Good interpersonal, people, and communication skills.
· Experience in doing socio-economic surveys, data management.
· A flair for writing reports and communication
The candidate should have the ability to take leadership of a small team.
Knowledge of English, Hindi is a must, and marathi may be required to
communicate with the locals.
Salary will be 25000-30000/. Lodging and boarding will be provided for. The
salary will depend on the experience and skills of the proposed candidate.
