Hi everyone,
Samvada <http://samvadabaduku.org> has completed two batches [about 47
students - from diverse backgrounds (rural, socially and economically
disadvantaged, 10th and PUC dropouts etc)] of 'Waste Supply Chain
Management' *(WSCM)* course which is a three month certification course.
We are happy to share with you that we will be starting our next
course on *'Waste
Supply Chain Management'* in *Feb 2021*. We initiated a post feasibility
study of our earlier course and from the study we gather that a six month
course would be more exhaustive to meet the requirements in the Waste
Management Sector.
*Please find attached the outline of the curriculum*. We are looking
for *resource
persons- *someone who can teach sessions covering any of the topics listed
in the curriculum. The course will mainly be experiential and field based,
so researchers who have worked on the field and have an understanding of
the dynamics of the waste management system in the context of economics,
politics, social etc would be ideal. The resource person should be able to
converse in kannada (can be a mix of kannada and english as well). Please
suggest people in your organisation/ network that we can reach out to.
Please let us know your interest and we could take this forward.
