University (Accredited with A+ by NAAC in III Cycle), Tiruchirappalli,
launches M.Sc. Environmental Science and Sustainable Management programme
from the Academic year 2019-2020. The new PG programme focuses on holistic
curriculum with blend of advanced scientific & technological developments
and modern management approaches towards the concept of sustainable
development. Emerging approaches in environmental resource management
including environmental informatics, environmental health and safety
management, climate change adaptation-mitigation and ecological restoration
in the curriculum is expected to deliver smart environmental professionals.
The Department has linkages to corporate sectors and a strong global
alumni network which ensures placement assistance to the outstanding
students. Meritorious students are awarded fellowships through endowment
funds.
