Dear Researchers/Students,
The Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology @ Sathyabama Institute of
Science and Technology is conducting a three-day National Workshop on
“Spectroscopic Techniques (WoST 2019)” from 30th January to 1st February
2019. The details of the workshop are attached to this mail and can

This workshop will focus on the fundamental aspects and recent developments
in the fields of spectroscopy and to deepen the knowledge on the
fundamental ideas behind the theory of spectroscopy. The workshop will be
accessible for a broad audience interested in gaining an in-depth knowledge
on the aspects and developments in areas of UV-visible, FT-IR, FT-IR
Imaging, Raman, Mössbauer, Fluorescence, NMR, EPR, XPS, etc. The main
emphasis of the workshop is on, how spectroscopic techniques can help to
understand material , correlating structure-property relation and
eventually for elucidating the structure of existing and newly discovered
materials.
We cordially invite you to attend this workshop. The number of participants
is restricted to 150. The last date for registration is 15th January 2019.
