Greetings!

The Madras Crocodile Bank Trust/Centre for Herpetology (MCBT) is
organizing a 5 day 'Rainforest Conservation Nature Camp' in Valparai
adjoining the Anamalai Tiger Reserve. We will be holding this camp at
Nature Conservation Foundation's (NCF) research station known as the
'Rainforest Restoration Research Station'.

Please find attached a brochure which has details of activities
Madras Crocodile Bank Trust/Centre for Herpetology

The Madras Crocodile Bank Trust (MCBT) is one of the first crocodile
conservation-breeding centres in Asia founded in 1976 to conserve the
three species of Indian crocodilians and establish programs for
conservation, education, outreach and propagation of endangered
reptiles. The mission of the trust is "To promote the conservation of
reptiles and amphibians and their habitats through education,
scientific research and captive breeding." Efforts are focused on, but
are not limited to, Indian species and ecosystems and include both
in-situ and ex-situ components.

To know more about MCBT please visit www.madrascrocodilebank.org

Nature Conservation Foundation (NCF)

NCF is a non-profit organization founded in 1996. Their aim is to
contribute to the knowledge and conservation of India's unique
wildlife heritage with innovative search and imaginative solutions.
NCF has conservation scientists working in a range of wildlife
habitats, from coral reefs and tropical rainforests to the high
mountains of Himalayas. They strive to understand the survival needs
of highly endangered species such as snow leopards and elephants as
well as equally fascinating but lesser-known wildlife such as corals
and civets. Their research also addresses human resource-use and its
impacts on wild species and ecosystems.
