*Number of Positions:* 1
*Experience:* Research experience in ecology or an allied field is
required. Research as part of a thesis/dissertation counts. Experience with
one or more of the following is highly desirable – quantitative analyses, R
statistical software, species distribution modeling, geospatial tools, and
citizen science tools/platforms.
*Education:* MSc in Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Life Sciences, or an allied
field.
*Salary:* As per Institution standards
*Tenure:* The position is temporary for a period of 10 months with a
probation period of 3 months.
*Job Description:* The Project/Research Assistant will be part of a
research project in evolutionary ecology with Shivani Jadeja

Sciences, SIAS <https://krea.edu.in/sias/>, Krea University. The project
aims to understand the effect of rising temperatures on the life history
strategies of organisms. The Project/Research Assistant will be involved in
developing and implementing the project, including but not limited to
developing protocols for data collection, collecting data including some
through field work, working with research partners and assistants,
analysing data and writing.
