The Weather Channel India <https://weather.com/en-IN/> is a JV of The
Weather Company and The Times of India, we have been covering news around
weather, science and environment extensively in India since May 2018. More
details are available on the attached banner.
We are looking for a fresh candidate for a freelance position equivalent to
an internship.
Position: Freelance editorial assistant
Description: To assist the weather.com <https://weather.com/en-IN/>’s
editorial team in maintaining the news cycle and publishing content
throughout the day.
Roles and responsibilities:
- To keep an eye on wires, news portals and other relevant content
- To publish daily weather updates, articles and videos from different
sources
- To manage the site and app using the Content Management System
- To alert the editorial team on trending topics and ensure timely coverage
of news
- To write short news updates or generate videos as and when necessary
Duration: 3 months (extendable to six months based on performance)
Stipend: INR 10,000 per month
Location: Work from home
