Project Associate

Centre for Environment Education (CEE) is a national institution engaged in
developing programmes and materials to increase awareness about the
Environment and Sustainable Development. Established in 1984 as a “Centre
for Excellence” in Environment Education, CEE is supported by the Ministry
of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India. CEE’s primary objective is to
improve public awareness and understanding of the Environment.

The Project Associate would work in the area of energy conservation
education at school level in the state of West Bengal.

Educational Qualifications and Skills: First/Second Class post graduate in
Energy Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences/MSW/Related
Discipline. Candidates below second class need not apply. 1-3 years
experience in related feild is desirable. Strong communication and report
writing skill is essential.

General: Understanding broader areas of concern like Biodiversity, Climate
Change, Energy and Education an advantage. While experience in related
areas will be preferred, fresh candidates with knowledge, skill and passion
for work in the field are encouraged to apply.

Language skills: Good writing and oral skill in English, Bangla, and Hindi.
Proficiency in computer is a must.

The job involves extensive travel in various districts of West Bengal for
monitoring of schools.

Salary: Upto 10,000/- p.m commensurate with experience.
