Completed Master's degree in Wildlife Science/Biology/Ecology/Zoology/Life
Sciences/Environmental Science/Botany/Ornithology or any related subject
from a recognized University
Prior experience of working on mountains, knowledge of basic ornithology,
birds identification specific to flycatchers, forest phylogeny, remote
sensing and GIS, ecological modelling, etc.
As per MoEFCC norms (JRF, 31,000/- + HRA @ 8% per month for first 22 months
and Rs.35,000/-+ HRA @ 8% for third year

*Description:** T*he project aims to understand the synchrony between
forest phenology, food abundance and flycatchers breeding timing. The work
involves intensive field of work and GIS work. Candidate must have
considerable knowledge about the bird’s identification. The selected
candidate may have the opportunity to work with collaborative partners
(Government college Bilashpur, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida,
Punjab University Chandigarh) and enroll for PhD program at Amity
University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. The project is based in Himachal Pradesh
