Dear Sir/Madam,
The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun (an autonomous institution of the
Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India) is
a key implementing agency under the National Mission for Clean Ganga, works
for rejuvenation of Ganga River and conservation of its biodiversity by
involving multiple stakeholders through community participation. Our key
activity includes forming a cadre of motivated 'Ganga Prahari' and creating
social awareness on cleanliness and biodiversity conservation.
As part of the Wildlife Week celebration (Oct 2nd - 8th), we are conducting
a pamphlet designing competition. The theme of the design is the aqua life
of Ganga and cleanliness and biodiversity conservation sensitization of
societies. The entries can be sent to vipul@xxxxxxxxxx. Selected entries
would be used for displays in public forum with due recognition. The best
designers would get an opportunity to work with the Wildlife Institute of
India and become a Ganga Prahari mentor.
