Subject: Request for posting "R studio training"
To: <meet.yeti@xxxxxxxxx>
Dear Team Yeti,
I am a trained environmental professional, with M.Sc in Env. Management
from FRI University, Dehradun and B.Sc. in Evn. Sci. from the Maharaja
Sayajirao University of Baroda.
I have been involved in the field of research and data science for over 8
years now. And I have faced a lot of challenges in learning data analysis
methods and its application in env. research.
The training is designed to upskill enthusiastic researchers and fill the
knowledge gap. R studio is an open source software and one of the most
powerful. In the training, the participants will be taught the statistical
concept in a simple term with hand-on data analysis experience using
R-studio.
Statistical concepts like sampling and statistical differences and
significance will be discussed and taught using the water quality examples,
for eg. 1) Methodological consideration for physico-chemical water quality
estimation, 2) for statistical analysis examples like estimating difference
between the oligotrophic and eutrophic wetlands.
I have more than 4 years of experience in freshwater and marine water
science, thus most of the examples will be related to water quality. I hope
this justifies its relevance with the Yeti theme.
I am attaching a course flyer, and would request you to post.
I am also attaching my CV for your reference.
Please let me know if any other information is required from my end.
Thanks and regards,
Parth Tailor
