Dear YETI community,
As part of a study to understand local adaptation to ant mutualists in the
castor plant (*Ricinus communis* -
https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/56739-Ricinus-communis ;), we are seeking
seed samples from across India. Castor plants are extremely common in urban
areas and disturbed habitats, and we are seeking to sample castor plants
from across its latitudinal range in India. Since it is a weedy species, no
permits are required, and seeds will be used to conduct a common garden
experiment in sites across India. Seed collection would involve collecting
mature seeds and mailing them to a location in South India (postal charges
will be reimbursed). We will be sure to acknowledge you in any ensuing
publications and will greatly appreciate your help! Please email me at

collection.
