*Research Assistant Required*
Looking for an individual comfortable with communication in both Assamese
(oral) and English (oral and written). If the person is from the North
East, it would be an added advantage. The study would involve assisting the
researcher in systematic data collection and field work. The work provides
an opportunity for extensively traveling across the Kaziranga Karbi Anglong
landscape for understanding vocal communication of Asian elephants for
both captive and wild elephants. Individuals who do not have prior
experience but are interested in working in Kaziranga Karbi Anglong
landscape or with elephants are also encouraged to apply. I am looking for
a person who would be able to commit to assisting me for about 6 months.
Accommodation and local travel will be covered.
