Kindly circulate the following information.

Hello!
The Kalinga Foundation has initiated a project to learn more about the
ecology and behaviour of *Craspedocephalus malabaricus* (Malabar pitviper)
and *Hypnale hypnale* (Humpnosed Pitviper). To do this, we are adopting
radiotelemetry methods, which will be conducted in agumbe, Western Ghats.

*Requirements:*
-Be 21 years or older
-Have at least a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in the biological field
-Have prior field experience
-Been a part of a long-term research project
-Have experience with independent and group work
-Valid driver's license two and four wheeler

*Responsibilities: *
*-*Conducting visual surveys, radio-tracking, observing, handling, and
sampling Craspedocephalus malabaricus and Hypnale hymnal while collecting
high-quality, standardized, and detailed data
-Monitoring, collecting, entering, and ensuring the scientific quality of
all data
-Maintaining animals, vehicles, equipment, field station, shared housing,
and office spaces
-Working with collaborators and helping with various project needs as they
arise (e.g., assisting in snake bite collection data, supporting or
conducting outreach, assisting with the preparation of proposals and
reports, etc.)
-Other miscellaneous project duties that may arise to accommodate research
needs

This is an unpaid position. However, Kalinga Foundation will cover the food
and accommodation charges. A certificate of Internship will be provided
after the successful completion of the internship.
