Dear Colleague,

We would appreciate it if you could display and/or circulate within your
networks, the attached poster about the 22nd Cambridge Student Conference
on Conservation Science and ensure that postgraduate students or young
research-active staff, who might find it interesting and useful, get to
hear about it.

The conference series aims to bring together conservation scientists in the
early stages of their research careers.  SCCS also uses its location in
Cambridge to build firm links between the new generation of conservation
scientists and the many national and international conservation agencies
based nearby. To date over 3400 delegates from more than 130 countries have
attended SCCS Cambridge.

*The closing date for all applications to next year’s conference is 25
August 2022 at 22:00 BST.*

The conference is able to help outstanding students from lower income
countries through travel bursaries, and also through its internship
scheme.  The internship scheme enables student delegates to spend up to one
month before the conference with a UK-based NGO or university department
carrying out a conservation science-related project of mutual interest.

*Internship applicants are required to develop their proposal with their
proposed host and submit their application by 18 August 2022 so that the
host has time to respond to the application. Interns are required to attend
the conference and should apply for that too.*

Further information about the Student Conference on Conservation Science
and details of how to apply can be found on our website:  *www.sccs-cam.org
