Veditum India Foundation is looking for 2-3 students interested in
environmental challenges / conservation to intern with Veditum’s team on a
new environmental accountability project - Sand Mining Monitoring.
Indiscriminate river sand mining continues to severely impact river ecology
and affects habitats of multiple riparian and aquatic species. Proper
implementation of guidelines is important for the preservation of these
ecosystems. Our project aims to bring accountability to this activity in
India, and work with partner organisations towards the conservation of
these ecosystems.
There are two internship roles:
1. Data - collection and analysis
2. Design and Communication
Individuals with past experience of working towards the environment /
public policy / media (e.g: water, environment, human rights, public
policy, journalism, environmental communication etc) will be given
preference.
