The purpose of the study is to better understand residents' attitudes and
perceptions about urban, and urban-proximate, Turahalli forest
conservation. I am a researcher from the Kuvempu University , Shimoga,
Karnataka wish to understand people's interactions with the Turahalli
forests in Bengaluru as a part of my PhD research studies.
The Turahalli Minor Forest is a dry and deciduous forest covering an area
of 597 acres. It is located about 20 km from Bengaluru off Kanakapura Road.
Turahalli Minor Forest is said to be one of the few Bengaluru’s surviving
forest as of today.
PLEASE FILL THE SURVEY IF YOU HAVE VISITED TURAHALLI FOREST OR IN AND
AROUND FOREST, Turahalli TREE PARK ATLEAST ONCE FROM *2019 ~ 2022*.
