The TERI University announces the launch of a multi-track postgraduate
programme in “Water Science and Governance” from the academic year starting
July, 2014. The main highlights of this programme are:


   1.   It’s a multi-track programme : Depending upon the eligibility of a
      candidate and his/her interest, a student can choose a two year
      M.Tech/M.Sc. degree or can exit after the first semester with a PG
      certificate or can exit after one year with a PG Diploma.


   2.   M.Tech./M.Sc  students will have taught courses only for one year
and
      will be exposed to intensive field based projects during the second
      year.


   3.   The programme has been designed with intensive consultations and
      participation of eminent experts from government; industry; NGOs;
      multi-lateral organizations; consultancies; and academicians from
      SAARC countries, Australia and Europe. Most of these Institutions
      have expressed their interest to engage students of this programme in
      their work/activities and hence there is an inherent indication for a
      high quality placement.


   4.   The programme is supported by The Coca-Cola foundation and The
      Coca-Cola India. There are plans to establish tie-ups with a number
      of organizations having interest in water issues for fellowships,
      internships, knowledge partnerships etc. The programme will be
      internationally prominent in near future.


   5.   The programme is of relevance to both fresh graduates as well as
      working professionals.


   6.   A student can apply for these programmes until June 16, 2014. The
      selection will on the basis of interview, likely on June 26-27.
