The Institute of Environment Education and Research, Bharati
Vidyapeeth University, (BVIEER), Pune (A NAAC accredited and
reaccredited ‘A’ grade University) with support from the Department of
Science and Technology is conducting a THREE WEEK SUMMER SCHOOL ON
GEOSPATIAL TECHNOLOGIES for personnel form Government Institutions and
faculty from colleges and universities as part of the national
program for building capacities in the use of geospatial technologies.
The three week program to be conducted from 1 December to 22 December
2016 will cover the basics of this technology with hands on sessions
with open source software that the participants can continue to use
even after the course. For details click on

Applications are invited from interested candidates. There are no
charges for participation. Residential accommodation will be provided
in our guest house if needed.
