A research survey on water (drinking water & wastewater) related practices
will be conducted by Maynooth University, Ireland (
https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie/) along with Development Alternatives,
Delhi (https://www.devalt.org/). The research team from Ireland is seeking
volunteers in India for PANI-Water project.
*About the Project:*
PANIWATER – Photo-irradiation and Adsorption based Novel Innovations for
Water-treatment Project is a 4-year project jointly funded by the European
Commission (Horizon 2020 Programme) and Department of Science and
Technology, India under EU-India Water Cooperation on Research and

*Job Description:*
The project requires volunteers from India to do a socio-economic household
survey to understand the context of drinking water & wastewater in
Delhi & Bundelkhand. We are seeking young, dynamic and enthusiastic
individuals with good communication skills in both Hindi (oral and written)
and English (oral and written). Training will be given to the volunteers by
the experts from Maynooth University to do the survey in 400 households.
*Time Commitment:* February -March 2020.
*Location:* Delhi/NCR *(We prefer local applicants)*
*Desirable qualification:* Bachelors or Masters in Social Work, Social
Science, Medical Social Worker, Environmental Studies or related fields.
On successful completion of the assigned task, the volunteers will be
provided with a “training-cum task completion” certificate by Maynooth
University, Ireland & Development Alternatives, Delhi. A token remuneration
will also be provided.
