*LTM Project*
Wildlife Conservation Society-India is hiring interns under a project on
the conservation of endangered lion-tailed macaques in the Western Ghats.
The project involves field surveys in protected areas and office-based data
analysis.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors or Master’s degree in related field
2. Inter-personal skills, and the ability to work well with a team
3. Physically fit to walk in rough terrain
4. Can commit up to a period of 3 months
5. Working knowledge of R and GIS is desirable
6. Prior field experience with wildlife research or conservation is
desirable
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ability to carry out field surveys
2. Plan and coordinate field work
3. Assist in gathering and compilation of field data
4. Assist in data analysis
The position is open with immediate effect. Remuneration will be decided
based on candidate qualification and experience. Basic food and
accommodation will be provided during field visits.

*Elephant Project*
Wildlife Conservation Society-India is hiring interns under a project on
Elephant reserves and corridors in Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves
extensive traveling in Arunachal Pradesh and gathering information from the
Forest Department and other sources.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors or Master’s degree in related field
2. Inter-personal skills, and the ability to work well with a team
3. Good communication skills in Hindi and English
4. Can commit up to a period of 3 months
5. Valid four-wheeler license and ability to drive in rough terrain of
Arunachal is desirable
6. Prior field experience with wildlife research or conservation is
desirable
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ability to work independently
2. Coordinate meetings with Forest Department officials in different
parts of Arunachal Pradesh
3. Visit places in the state to gather relevant information on Elephants
corridors
4. Conduct field surveys if required
5. Assist in compiling of information
