A walk-in-interview will be held on *28 May 2019 (Tuesday) at 10.30 A.M in
the Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University* for one (01)
temporary position of *Junior Research Fellow* in Department of Science and
Technology (DST)-Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored
research project entitled* "Ecohygrological assessment of eutrophicated
water bodies - monitoring algal blooms (algal toxins), water quality and
developing techniques to reduce eutrophication" *under Principal
Investigator Dr. Nayanmoni Gogoi, Department of Environmental Science,
Tezpur University, Assam.
*Qualifications:* M.Sc. in Fisheries Science / Life Sciences /
Environmental Science / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry and allied sciences
from a recognized institute with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in
aggregate having NETJRF/GATE qualification.
*Desirable:* Candidate having prior research experience in the field of
fisheries sciences, life sciences and molecular biological techniques with
knowledge of fishes, phytoplankton and zooplankton. Age: Candidate shall
not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit
may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
*Fellowship: *Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand) only plus HRA as
admissible per month for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees
thirty-five thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd
year.
*Duration: *Three (03) years or till completion of the project or until
further order.

all original documents and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets and
certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate
(if applicable), certificate of NET/GATE or similar examination, experience
certificate (if any), a recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) and two recent
passport size photographs on the day of interview.
