I write to you from Samvada-Baduku <https://samvadabaduku.org/>
Samvada advocates for youth rights and builds youth centric knowledge
through research.
We are constantly looking for narratives that inspire young people to get
involved in social and ecological challenges of our times. To this end we
have compiled 9 amazing stories of young entrepreneurs passionate about the
"Zero Waste" ideology and have managed to carve out a niche for themselves
in the waste management sector.
Our "Centre for Youth and Sustainable Development
<https://samvadabaduku.org/baduku-community-college/>" under the aegis of
Baduku - Center for Livelihoods Learning", successfully completed two
batches of curriculum on "Waste Management" with 47 students . Of these
over 25 students are now working professionals in the Waste Management
Sector spanning across the State.
Lets come together and celebrate these stories of tenacity that is required
to tackle one of the biggest crises that the city is confronted with today.
And it is with much excitement and pride that I invite you to share your
experiences as someone conversant on the subject to motivate young
aspirants and celebrate with us the success stories in the Waste Management
Sector.
On 19th November, 4pm - 6pm, we will gather online to meet and greet
entrepreneurs, city administrators, scientists and academia and all the
change-makers in the 'Waste Management Sector'. Your presence would mean a
lot to all present and here's requesting you to join hands and participate
in the online event.
