Join us for an interactive session on education & careers in the
environmental, climate, and sustainability sectors post UG and PG.
*The session will cover two expert talks:*1. How to choose a career track
post UG in environmental sector
2. Current career opportunities & challenges in environmental sectors
*Meet the ExpertsDr. Pankaj Koparde:* An evolutionary ecologist by
training, Dr. Koparde is an expert in biodiversity research, citizen
science, and conservation biology. He primarily works on owls &
dragonflies. He has 30+ research publications to his credit. He is a TEDx
speaker, EarthWatch & Prakriti Fellow, and DST Young Scientist Awardee. He
works as an assistant professor at MIT-WPU and manages a research team
under the title Chatur Ullu Lab based in Pune.
*Dr. Prasad Kulkarni:* An environmental scientist by training, Dr. Kulkarni
has worked extensively on Mangrove ecosystems. He comes with a rich
background working with international NGOs and incubators. He has over 15
years of industrial experience and has been a member of various
international & national societies. He heads the Department of
Environmental Studies at MIT-WPU Pune.
