This year, on the occasion of World Environment Diversity, Terracon Ecotech
Private Limited is organizing a free *webinar on ‘Ecological Restoration: A
key towards nature positive’*. This webinar aims to discuss and raise
awareness on the practice of renewing and restoring degraded, damaged, or
destroyed ecosystems and habitats through active intervention and action.
Terracon Ecotech was incorporated as India’s first ecology-based
environmental consultancy; leading with a track record of 150+ projects in
the areas of Biodiversity Conservation, Ecological Restoration,
Inventorisation and plantation/transplantation of trees and mangroves,
Environmental and Ecological Impact Assessment, and Climate Change Advisory
services. Our passion to conserve and restore Nature in its glory sets us
apart. We work with zeal to populate Nature-based Solutions in India and
beyond. The above mentioned webinar will be led by in-house expert from
domains of Ecology and Biodiversity.
Mr. Ninad Raut, Lead of Ecology and Biodiversity Department at Terracon. He
has a cumulative 13 years of experience in field of Sustainability, Ecology
& Biodiversity Conservation, Environment Education, Ecological and Ethno
botanical research of medicinal plants, including PhD research experience,
Environmental Impact Assessments, Biodiversity related CSR activities. He
has worked with varied sectors in this domain like, Government (WII), NGOs
(WWF & BNHS), Corporates & Private.
