Wild Otters Research <http://wildotters.com/>, a wildlife research organization
is holding a 2-Day intensive program : 'Wildlife Research Techniques', an
updated workshop to get individuals acquainted with fundamental field
research techniques for all at its Goa field base which will include :
1. Field Research methods including surveys, wildlife sign
identification, GPS usage, sample collection
2. Camera Trapping
3. Invertebrate IDing and methods to study them
4. Learning types of bats, and doing a night bat survey using a Bat
detector
5. Introduction to GIS tools (QGIS)
6. Scat Analysis
7. Introduction to Bird Identification and Bird walk
*Dates : *Weekend of 25-26 January, 2020 (Saturday 9 AM to Sunday 6
PM) - *Accommodation
will be provided from Friday until Monday morning as may be desirable basis
