Please circulate this information regarding a workshop that we are
planning to conduct in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Forest
Department on *'Stream Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation in Eastern
Ghats'*.
This 3-days workshop will be conducted in Papikonda National Park, Andhra
Pradesh from *12th to 14th March 2018*. It is open to students and
researchers with a minimum qualification of Bachelors in Science.
A total of 12 participants would be selected; the registration fees is *Rs.
1500/- *(this includes shared accommodation, veg. food and local
transport). Travel to and from Rajahmundry or Visakhapatnam (the nearest
cities to the venue) will have to be borne by the participants. To apply,
interested candidates can please mail their CV along with a cover letter
specifying research interests in Eastern Ghats, interest in stream ecology
and reasons to attend this workshop to paromita@xxxxxxxxxx or paro
mitaray20@xxxxxxxxx. *The last date for sending applications is 2nd March
2018*. The selected participants would be informed soon after the last
date.
