On the ocassion of "World Ocean Day" the India Environment Forum is going
to organize an Environment and Ecology Restoration Series 2021 ( Session 1)
named "Experiencing Ecological Restoration: Practise and cases" on 8th
June, 2021 from 7-8 PM engaging eminent Resource Persons and the program
will be including the following:

1. Theme will be introduced by Prof. Ashwani Kumar who is a Civil Engineer,
Environmental Planner and also an Academician.

2. First speaker- Dr. Erach Bharucha who is the Member National Tiger
Conservation Authority; Zoo Athority of India and also the Governing
Council member of Wildlife Institute of India and of SACON, Chairman of
Maharashtra State Biodiversity Board and
Member of Board of Trustees of Wildlife Trust of India (WTI); Advisory
Board, Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park and Research Center (Pune); Committee
for Evaluation of Tiger Reserves for Cluster (Madhya Pradesh); Protected
Areas for Western Region (India); Board of Wetland (Maharashtra); Protected
Area Network, MoEFCC; Wildlife Advisory Board and last but not the least as
Dean, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed
University).

2. Second speaker- Dr. C. N. Pandey who is Visiting Professor, Earth
Sciences & Civil Engineering,
Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar and also the Chairman, Expert
Appraisal Committee (Industry I), MoEFCC, Government of India. He was
Ex. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of forests, Gujarat.
