THE IBIOLOGY YOUNG SCIENTIST SEMINAR SERIES

Are you a young scientist? Would you like to share the results of your
biology research with an international audience? Are you interested in
becoming a better communicator?

Apply for the iBiology Young Scientist Seminar Series by February 1st, 2015!

If you are a Ph.D. candidate or postdoctoral researcher in biological
sciences, this competition offers a unique opportunity to develop your
effective communication skills.

Four winners will attend a two-day workshop offered by the Alan Alda
Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University, a leading
institution in the training of scientists in science communication and
outreach.

After the workshop, the winners will record 30-minute talks using
green screen technology, and the videos will be posted and distributed
through the iBiology website.

If you have an interesting research project and a compelling story to
tell, click here to find out more about the Young Scientist Seminar
Series and apply.

Don’t miss this unique professional development opportunity and the
chance to share your science! You can send your questions to
ibiology@xxxxxxxx.

The Young Scientist Seminar Series is a partnership of the Lasker
Foundation, the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony
Brook University, and iBiology.
