Hands on exercise in Spatial mapping using QGIS, statistical analysis and
interpretation using R and
Biological data analysis using Python sofware.
Lectures in different disciplines of Biodiversity Informatics
Field based vegetation sample collection, analysis and
Ecological modelling using open source software.
Participants : 15 (First come first served basis) Registration fee: Rs.
5000*(Five thousand only)
*Fee includes training materials, data sets, field trip, refreshments,
working lunch and certificate.
*Accommodation*: Participants have to make arrangements on their own for
accommodation. Necessary assistance will be provided for getting
accommodation on request.

Application on A4 size plain paper with name, designation, age, sex,
organization, communication address, experience and the purpose of
attending workshop (in brief) along with the demand draft of Rs. 5000/
drawn in favour of "The Principal, Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchirappalli"
towards registration fee, may be addressed to “The Coordinator,
Biodiversity Informatics workshop, Department of Botany, Jamal Mohamed
College, Tiruchirappalli – 620 020” on or before 30th April 2019.
