The project "Mapping Invasive Alien Plants" intends to create a
participatory atlas of invasive plant distributions for use by forest
managers and conservation organisations. Having started in the Nilgiri and
Anamalai hills of the Western Ghats, the project aims to expand out in the
future.
To help with the project all you need is an interest in conservation, a
willingness to learn to recognise invasive plants and to use the ODK
Collect App.
Coordinated by Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment
(ATREE) and Keystone Foundation.
