Hello,

I am planning to go to Sundarbans next month. Could someone please help?
Specifically, should Bakkhali be the base for accessing coastal regions of
Sundarbans? Coastal, because I am not interested to go (estuarine) regions
deep in delta, for example area around Basanti. I want to explore along the
line in this map

But it seems Bakkhali is a small, resort like town, and i might not get
motorized boats from there? I am planning to hire boats to explore along
this line.

Whom should I contact for permits? I had a very bad experience with A&N
Chief Conservator of Forests office (Even after 4 written requests and a
personal visit, they said sampling permission is a "lengthy" process), so I
am very disappointed with bureaucracy. I am looking for a permit for
collecting seaweed from coast, any idea?

Can someone please advise!
