For all those in Delhi tomorrow - --------------------------------------------------- Dear all, WWF-India and the Research and Information System for Developing Countries cordially invite you to a special presentation by noted scholar, historian and social scientist, Dr. Sidiq Wahid, on '*The Changthang Borderlands of Ladakh'*. The presentation will be held on March 21 at 6:00 PM at the WWF-India Auditorium, 172-B Lodi Estate, Max Mueller Marg, New Delhi 110003. Dr. Wahid will present his impressions of an eight day-visit to the Changthang which he undertook in October 2013, covering Nyoma, Hanle, Khuyul and Demchok. He will briefly cover the historical, sociological and economic aspects of the region, while providing a theoretical framework for the management of frontier regions. Dr. Wahid is an authority on medieval Inner Asian and Tibetan history, and has extensive experience on the political and historical background of Jammu and Kashmir.
