Dear YETI memebers,

There are volunteering opportunities for motivated researcher/students in
Central India (Pench Tiger Reserve, MP) to work on predation ecology of
large carnivores. This can be a great chance for anyone interested in
gaining experience in field work.
We are conducting camera trapping, line transect based prey density
estimation, behavioral sampling of prey and socio-economic surveys. This is
a part of a PhD dissertation.
Volunteers will have to be bear travel expenses to and from the field site.
Basic food and lodging will be provided.
Interested candidates are requested to e-mail their CV to the supervisor,
Shri Qamar Qureshi (qnq@xxxxxxxxxx) and research fellow, Anindita Bidisha
Chatterjee (anindita@xxxxxxxxxx, aninditabidisha1@xxxxxxxxx). Candidates
with previous filed experience will be given preference.
Best
Anindita
