Dear all, Registration and abstract submission for Young Ecologists Talk and Interact -YETI 2011 is now open. Abstract submission will close on 19th November. This year YETI has stepped out from Bangalore to Guwahati, the gateway to the biodiversity rich North Eastern India. YETI is one of India's largest ecology groups with over 1500 online members and with a vibrant student community that organizes a student conference each year with about 500 participants last year. This year YETI meeting will have plenary talks by eminent scientists in the fields of ecology, evolution and conservation along with short 3 hour workshops and day-long workshops for students, focussed symposia on specific subjects and panel discussions apart from regular oral presentations, speed talks and poster presentations. Co-hosted by the Centre for the Environment, IIT-Guwahati, this year dormitory accommodation may be available for many participants.
