Obviously, I meant a lot better than *2K* COFDM.

By the way, 1st and 2nd generation COFDM receivers, according to the
French TNT report,

p. 23, were not that great at pre-echo either. So perhaps what echo
there was in those London flats was close-in and mostly lagging. If
that's true, that also suggests that a modern 8-VSB receiver would work
well by comparison.
