I think 3D is great attraction for consumer. The only problem is content. For DVD or Blu Ray the content were same movies basically reformatted for the media. For 3D you need to create all new content. The 3D made from 2D are less attractive then 2D. So it will be very slow coming format.. unless other non film content kick in such as games and a very special content that sold VHS in the first place and selling well now on Internet, cable and even smart phones...
