So the story essentially tells us that watching sports on mobile devices is a
strong enough attraction to cause folks to subscribe to Aereo - so much so, in
fact, that the new subscribers crashed the system.

Two lessons here:

1. The technology is still fragile and will need to scale massively to allow
for a shift from the MVPDs to wired and wireless broadband.

2. Broadcasters have a viable option for survival - Focus on the mobile devices
that need an affordable wireless option to fill their screens.

I wonder how many people tried to watch an NFL game on an ATSC mobile (M/H)
receiver? And I'm not talking about a big screen TV with integrated ATSC tuner,
fed via an antenna, in the back of an SUV at a tailgate party.
