Got a very thorough response from the Engineering Director
at WETA (PBS, Ch 26 analog, Ch 27 digital). They are currently
transmitting from a lower tower, at low power, from a
location to the west of most other local stations, from where
we live. They will move their DTT transmitting antenna to a
higher tower and increase power in the next couple of months,
co-located with two local stations I receive quite well.

So that's the sort of tweaking I would hope to see from all
digital transmission facilities that started out in a less
than ideal configuration. In principle, I should be receiving
17 total stations. Missing in action still are UPN here and
from Baltimore, and one PBS station way out west of where I'm
aiming, in Manassas VA.
