A mere 3 years ago, PCs were almost always sold with CRT monitors. We started seeing flat screens in TV shows, and by now, we almost forgot that PCs ever came with CRT monitors. Just how many CRTs do you see with PCs when you visit your neighborhood Best Buy or CompUSA? It was sometime in 2003 that I posted an article which explained that LCD monitor manufacturers had *saturated* the PC market. And that as a result, they were now going to address the TV market in a serious way. Well, what would lead anyone to believe that this transition should be any slower? (I mean, other than the fact that TVs are useful a lot longer than PCs.) In Japan now, that's pretty much all you see.
